Yes. We’re based in Yerevan and work globally. We’ve previously worked with companies across the EU, CIS, and the US.

About us
Media Lab is an engineering company focused on applied problems at the intersection of systems design, commerce and taste, with an operations-first approach in its DNA. We think about and solve your problems like they’re ours.
Media Lab was founded in 2026 and is based in Yerevan. We’re curious about turning complex business problems into memorable and operationally solid systems. We did this for ourselves and our friends anyway.
Why
Solving problems is fun. We believe people should spend their best hours on things that matter, whether that’s making business decisions or being with family. Automating work, writing code and making sense of data are more accessible than ever. Making them work together reliably is harder. That’s the part we’re most curious about.
What this is
We love building the things a business runs on: websites, online stores, tools, automations, databases and integrations, and we care about making them with taste. Some businesses just need things built, preferably by someone who speaks their language. We do exactly that.
What this isn’t
Media Lab is not an agency with account managers and retainers. We don’t sell presentations, ads, get-rich-quick schemes or transformation. We build things. We’re not vibe-coding something you’ll have to replace six months later, and we’re definitely not building your startup instead of you.
Who it’s for
We’ve worked across art, tech, eCommerce, legal, health, manufacturing and non-profit. The industry matters less than the problem and we usually work best with people who want the problem solved, not managed.
FAQ
It depends on what you need. Websites start from 625K AMD, websites done fast are 150-325K AMD, and eCommerce projects are typically 850K-2M AMD. Anything that doesn’t fit neatly into those categories is quoted per project. We agree on the scope and price before work starts.
For the agreed scope, usually yes. Scope, price, and timing are negotiated and then fixed in the contract. We understand that goals and needs can change mid-project, so if they do, we agree on the best way forward before the work changes with them.
A completed brief, a signed contract, and the materials the project needs. For a website, that usually means your texts, photos, and brand assets. We’re happy to guide you through the process, but we don’t normally source content or do branding work unless that’s part of what you need from us.
Not as a standard service. Texts, photography, branding, domains, and hosting aren’t included unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
If getting the first version out is the priority, Media Lab can help derive a sensible starting point from what you already have. For proper branding, photography, or specialist content work, we generally prefer referring you to our friends who do those things exceptionally well. We’d rather be clear about that before the invoice develops feelings.
You own what we create specifically for you, including the project deliverables, code, and content covered by our agreement. Domains, hosting accounts, and third-party tools are generally kept under your name unless we agree otherwise.
We retain our pre-existing methods, reusable tools, know-how, and other assets that aren’t unique to your project. The contract explains all of this before we start.
If you want us to. Support starts from 20K AMD per month and can cover things like fixes, small changes, infrastructure monitoring, uptime, and renewals. New features, substantial changes, new pages, and redesigns are separate work.
Before we start, we usually brief you on what sort of maintenance your project might need.
Yes, after a look inside. We’ll tell you whether it makes sense to keep working with what you have or whether rebuilding would be cheaper, faster, or less painful. We quote takeover work separately, especially when the existing project is complicated.
Of course, that happens! We agree on the change, explain how it affects the price and timing, and put it in writing. No surprise invoices.
If the delay is ours, we tell you early and mitigate it. If materials arrive late, decisions take longer, or the scope changes, the timeline may move with them. We understand that delays can happen on either side.
Yes. This website itself was built in about 5 days.
Fast mode is meant for relatively simple websites: typically up to seven pages, one language, with most of the materials already prepared. It’s for cases where you need something good, functional, and presentable quickly so you can get moving.
And yes, we make sure it doesn’t look like it was built in five days.
